When a terrorist spotted a 70-year-old Vietnam veteran, he excitedly seized the chance to slaughter an American citizen. However, just before he launched his brutal attack, the courageous veteran looked him in the eyes and uttered 7 chilling words that the terrorist scum should’ve heeded.
As the longest-running political conflict in history, Israel and the Arab world have battled for over a millennium for control of the single plot of Jewish territory in the world. Desperate to eradicate the Jews, as the Quran commands, over 50 Muslim countries have attacked Israel both militantly and politically.
Perhaps the most deceptive plot to destroy the Jews is the decades-long Arab infiltration of Israeli land known as Palestine. However, while Hamas, the Fatah government, and the Palestinian Liberation Organization often launch orchestrated attacks on innocent Israeli civilians, Palestinians are more than willing to become “martyrs” by ambushing and killing any Jew who has the misfortune of crossing their path. Unfortunately for one young aspiring jihadist, he ran into the wrong Jew.
On the morning of November 17, U.S. Marine veteran David Ramati, who served 2 combat tours in Vietnam before moving to Israel and serving for 25 years in the Israeli Defense Forces, was walking along the Efrat-Darom intersection when 17-year-old Palestinian terrorist “Az a-Din” Ali Karajeh (Karaj) recognized his opportunity to kill a Jew.
After spotting Ramati, Karajeh whipped his car around and stepped on the accelerator, barrelling right toward the veteran in a bid to run him down. What Karajeh didn’t realize was that you should never underestimate the fight in an American soldier.
According to Israel National News, Ramati looked straight into Karajeh’s eyes as he was speeding toward him and fearlessly uttered, “You’re not going to kill me today” before spryly leaping onto a fence to avoid being run over.
“The terrorist drove past me, then made a U-turn, and at that point I understood that he was planning to attack me,” Ramati told Army Radio. “I realized that I didn’t have time to draw my gun, so I jumped the fence. While I was in the air [jumping the fence], he managed to run into me with his car.”
Ramati recalled, “I saw the smile of the terrorist’s face. I told him ‘You’re not going to kill me today.’ I wasn’t afraid.”
Because Ramati refused to allow fear to cloud his mental sharpness, he managed to formulate a split-second defense maneuver that not only saved his life but enabled him to walk away from the failed jihadist with minor injuries and one jaw-dropping story to tell. In fact, just hours after his release from the hospital, Ramati was back to warning potential terrorists that he’s not going down so easily.
Ramati’s resourcefulness and determination saw to it that he survived a common Palestinian terror tactic that often results in the deaths of Israeli civilians.
“My whole face was full of blood and I couldn’t see anything,” Ramati said. “I could barely stand and walked back to call for help and an ambulance came and took me to the hospital.”
Ramati later tweeted that he was released from the hospital with just 3 broken segments in his lower back, several broken ribs, and 10 staples to a wound on his head. Despite his injuries, Ramati was repeatedly pictured smiling and optimistically gesturing to the camera. He also added that President Donald Trump had personally contacted him and applauded his incredible bravery.
Ramati’s daughter, Elisheva Federman, explained that her father has never lost his positive outlook, even though this isn’t his first near-death experience. She added that he has dedicated his life to opposing terrorism and only regrets that he wasn’t able to stop Karajeh himself.
“He’s lived through a lot of wars and terror attacks. No terrorist is going to stop him. He’s only regret is that he wasn’t able to draw his gun in time and eliminate the terrorist.”
After plowing through Ramati and believing him to be dead, Karajeh set his sights on another Israeli civilian who was walking nearby. He then mowed down and severely wounded a 35-year-old man before exiting his crashed vehicle and brandishing a knife. Karajeh was critically shot by an Israeli police officer when he attempted to unleash a stabbing spree.
Fortunately, the young terrorist failed to slaughter any of his victims or even become a so-called “martyr” for the Palestinian cause. Disturbingly, while he’s receiving state-of-the-art treatment in an Israeli hospital, which all surviving Palestinian terrorists do, the Arab media are sickeningly twisting the report to propagate that Karajeh is an innocent Palestinian child who was viciously gunned down by evil Jews.
On the Ramallah Mix and the Akbar Salfeet Facebook news pages, it was biasedly reported that Karajeh was “struck by the occupation” without provocation in a blatant attempt to make the terrorist appear as an innocent civilian. Karajeh was also hailed a “hero” by commenters who inundated the posts with praise and well wishes for his quick recovery.
Misinformation, censorship, and flagrant lies are the tactics of the Arab media to paint the Palestinians in a positive light while shamelessly spewing unhinged anti-Semitism. Most disturbing is that the West’s liberals have bought into this age-old lie intended to demonize the Jews, whose land the Arabs have long desired.
