A shocking story has emerged out of Ohio, where a violent guy thought it would be a good idea to break into a home where a couple was in bed. Now, the story has gone viral after the gun-wielding thug got a dose of brutal instant justice from one of the fed-up victims, and rightfully so.

According to The Columbus Dispatch, the armed home invasion took place at approximately 5 a.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2017. Police said that 27-year-old David Beskid II, of Cumberland in Guernsey County, unlawfully entered a home in the 9100 block of Graceland Land Road in northern Licking County through an unlocked door. Whatever intentions this thug had, things were about to take a serious and permanent turn for the worst after he decided to point a gun at a couple who were sleeping in bed.

Licking County Sheriffs Capt. Chris Slayman said that while 37-year-old Donnie Gayheart and a woman slept, Beskid crept inside and pointed a gun and a flashlight at them. Instantly, Gayheart did what any responsible homeowner in fear for his life would have done — he grabbed his gun and shot Beskid. In that moment, as Beskid lay dying on the floor, it probably occurred to him that whatever he went inside this home to do wasn’t worth the outcome. He was declared dead a short time later.

Slayman did say that the two men were acquainted but had not known each other for a very long time. Perhaps Beskid just chose the wrong time to be opportunistic. “There was some prior history between them,” he said of Gayheart and Beskid, but he added that the men had not known each other long. Investigators are still trying to determine the motive for the home invasion. Slayman said that it was not an attempted burglary, which makes it even more creepy because it means that Beskid was probably breaking into the home to murder his victims.

Apparently, Beskid returned fire when Gayheart shot him, but no one else was hit, according to investigators from the Sheriff’s department. Slayman said that investigators from the state Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification assisted deputies in processing the crime scene. Although the homeowner was not charged with a crime for shooting an intruder in his own home, it won’t be long before the liberal media puts him on trial in the court of public opinion to help pedal their anti-gun agenda.

This homeowner did the right thing in shooting Beskid for breaking into his home and pointing a gun at him and the other victim. Regardless of how many baby pictures of the dead suspect that the mainstream media posts on the news, let’s not forget that the homeowners are the real victims in this story.

I’m sure the thug’s family will be on the news or social media telling everyone what a great guy he was and how he wouldn’t have hurt anyone even though he unlawfully entered a man’s home with a gun. The simple fact of the matter is that violent people like Beskid usually meet a violent end and no one should waste any time crying for the devil. He got what he deserved. Oddly enough, Beskid went by the nickname “Swampy” and uploaded the following video to YouTube titled Sober Dream.

Once again, the 2nd Amendment pulls its own weight. An Ohio homeowner and his family are alive and well because they knew that their safety was their own responsibility. If Gayheart had not been armed and ready to take out the trash, perhaps it would be his family who is shopping for a couple of coffins and attending his funeral. Thank goodness he was ready to confront evil when it darkened his doorstep.
